Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford celebrate MSW week

Dartford and Gravesham branch celebrate their support workers in MSW Week 2021.

In the build up to the week they sent around the flyers asking colleagues to complete them stating why they valued their MSWs. On 18 November these were put up on  display board outside the ward areas where staff could see them.

In true RCM style they also ran a stall where we sold cakes that were either baked or bought by our staff. The money raised was £143 and they are wishing to send £140 of this as our contribution to the #RCM140 campaign to support midwives and MSWs when they need it most.

As a special treat for the MSWs they used funds towards purchasing 20 gifts and names were placed in a hat then picked out at random. The lucky winners have been given the choice of gift and these were gratefully received in the current climate and pressures of working in the NHS.
