Midlands and East of England branches celebrate IDM 2022

Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft branch

Joined with their hospital trust to celebrate IDM with cakes, a prize draw including RCM travel cups and a hand crafted display of ‘100 years of progress’ in midwifery.

Nottingham branch

RCM goodies, chocs and cakes delivered to our Community Teams, QMC and City staff. Branch donated 5 IDM travel cups as prizes for a quiz run by the PMA team.

 

Shropshire branch

This year, we chose a collaborative approach to IDM which secured Trust funding and planning. All Midwives received an IDM hot/cold metal flask with "proud to be a midwife" #IDM 2022 and an IDM plaque with the same text on it. Our branch funds extended to lovely consumables we added to the IDM bags. We also visited all areas including community, thanked midwives, distributed their bags and did rounds with hot and cold beverages to all wards and departments.
