Student Midwives Celebration Day - Northern Ireland
Belfast branch mark Student Midwives Celebration Day - 15 June 2022
Belfast branch was out and about on #RCMStudentsDay22 giving out some goodies to our students plus surprise goodie bags for five lucky student midwives! Great news that Belfast branch has now officially affiliated with Queen’s University Belfast Midwifery Society. QUB Mid Soc also celebrated all our student midwives by sharing their favourite memories online.
Isle of Man branch mark Student Midwives Celebration Day
Student midwives are our future midwives so it was a wonderful opportunity for the Isle of Man branch to say thank you on #RCMStudentsDay. We continue to be incredibly proud of all our student midwives in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, we appreciate all that you do.
South Eastern branch mark Student Midwives Celebration Day at Lagan Valley
It was lovely to see Lagan Valley celebrating our student midwives on #RCMStudentsDay22. They are an invaluable part of the maternity team and should recognise how far they have come and all that they do. This was a great opportunity to say thank you and to raise awareness around the student midwife experience.
South Eastern branch celebrate Student Midwives’ Day at Ards Community Hub
Appreciation was shown to student midwives at Ards Community Hub with some skills and drills on #RCMStudentsDay22! In response, a student midwife took the opportunity to say ‘thank you for being such a lovely, nurturing team, full of kindness encouragement and support. All the best ingredients for students to grow and flourish’. Such fantastic feedback for our midwives who mentor and develop our student midwives!
Western branch first to mark Student Midwives Celebration Day
Western branch was quick off the mark to recognise RCM’s first ever Students Day 2022. This is a welcome opportunity to celebrate our fantastic students from Queen’s University, Belfast when they are out on placement. Our students have been working through unprecedented times to become qualified midwives and it was lovely to celebrate their hard work, ambition and impact that they have had and will have on maternity services.
