New app logs encounters with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 maternity cases

We’re supporting the new app obsCOVID.org that works as a logbook to track your interactions with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases in your care and can track your own developments of the symptoms.

The registry aims to answer the following questions:

1. What is the prevalence of COVID-19 infection amongst maternity ward/labour unit staff interacting with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in pregnant women?
2. What risk factors are associated with COVID-19 infection amongst maternity ward/labour unit staff interacting with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in pregnant women?
3. Is current personal protective equipment (PPE) practice adequate in limiting the rates of COVID-19 infection amongst maternity ward/labour unit staff interacting with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in pregnant women?

Access to the registry is open to all maternity healthcare workers here. All entries will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and current GDPR standards.
