RCM message of solidarity - UCU strikes

The RCM is sending a message of solidarity with UCU members taking strike action over falling pay, the gender and ethnic pay gap, precarious employment practices, and unsafe workloads.

For more information about the action and dates of planned strikes you can visit their website here. This may affect RCM members working in higher education who hold joint membership of the two unions. 

If you have been balloted please do follow the instructions of your union, the RCM has not balloted you for action, this would have been sent to you from UCU. If you were not included in this ballot you should report for work as normal but support striking colleagues by not undertaking their duties as this may undermine the industrial action.
