RCM congratulates royals on new baby

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her third child yesterday (23 April) at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London.
The baby boy born at 11:01am, weighing 8lb 7oz, is the second son for the royal couple and fifth in line to the throne.
RCM CEO Gill Walton said: ‘On behalf of the RCM I offer our warmest and heartfelt congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy. We wish them the best of health and happiness in the future.
‘I would also offer our thanks to the midwives and other health professionals who have supported the Duchess and her family through her pregnancy and beyond.’
